About HOSPAC…
HOSPAC, composed of the state and federal political action committees of the Texas Hospital Association, is the voice for more than 320,000 health care professionals working in hospitals throughout the state.
Established in 1981, HOSPAC State supports candidates for state legislative positions and certain statewide offices. HOSPAC Federal was organized in 1996 to support Texas candidates for election to the U.S. Congress. The 33-member HOSPAC Board of Directors governs both PACs and includes health care leaders from hospitals and health systems across the state. HOSPAC makes endorsements and contributions to candidates for both state and federal offices only after careful deliberation by the HOSPAC Board.
