Besides offering prominent recognition of Leadership level members, HOSPAC’s popular Leadership Reception Program series of events provides local and regional hospital executives, trustees and community leaders the opportunity to come together on behalf of hospitals to meet personally with important legislators. These events cultivate stronger grasstops and grassroots involvement in support of fair health care policy for Texas hospitals and the patients they serve, while helping to raise needed funds for HOSPAC.
2008 Events
April 10, Arlington
Special Regional Leadership Reception at the Texas Rangers vs. the Baltimore Orioles ballgame at the Rangers Ballpark. Reception opens at 5:30 p.m.; awards ceremony at 6:00 p.m.; and game starts at 7:05 p.m. View details.
2007 Events
October 14, Austin
This Special Regional Leadership Reception features as guest speaker Texas Representative Donna Howard. This Leadership Reception will be held at The Renaissance Hotel from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
September 20, The Woodlands
This Special Regional Leadership Reception features as guest speaker Texas Representative Rob Eissler. This Leadership Reception will be held at The Woodlands Resort from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
August 30, San Antonio
This Special Regional Leadership Reception features as guest speaker the Honorable Senator Judith Zaffirini. This Leadership Reception will be held at the lovely and historic Club Giraud from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
June 29, Harlingen
This Special Regional Leadership Reception features guest speakers Senator Eddie Lucio Jr., and his son, Representative Eddie Lucio III. Everyone is invited to help HOSPAC welcome this father-son legislator team! It will be held at the fine restaurant, the Magnolia Grille.
May 1, Arlington
This special HOSPAC Leadership members' event was be hosted at the two-story, premier private office suite of Sterling Barnett Little in the Rangers Ballpark in the Arlington for the Texas Rangers vs. the New York Yankees game!
March 27, Austin
This reception will honor special guest speaker Texas Representative Vicki Truitt (District 98) and will be held at the Historic Driskill hotel.
