Last year HOSPAC helped hospital-friendly candidates win their election battles. Now these lawmakers are making tough budget decisions in Austin and Washington, and hospitals leaders must continue to cultivate robust relationships with those who will champion health care issues.

HOSPAC’s 2011 Annual Campaign is underway, and your participation has never been more important. Each THA-member hospital and health system has a HOSPAC goal based on $2 per FTE, with a $500 minimum. Fully 100 percent of your membership contributions go directly to support HOSPAC-endorsed candidates. The stronger HOSPAC is, the more powerful our collective voice becomes.

This toolkit provides all the tools needed to conduct an effective fundraising campaign. Help HOSPAC grow stronger by ensuring that your hospital meets its goal. Contact Wendy Thomas (512/465-1044) if you have questions or need assistance in meeting your goal.

Leaders of the PAC – HOSPAC’s 2010 and 2011 Leadership Level Members

It’s one thing to understand the political issues
affecting health care and hospitals.

It’s another thing altogether to be able to dialogue
with political leaders.
