This has been a busy year for HOSPAC! THA staff and members have been distributing numerous HOSPAC contribution checks to endorsed candidates, and this will continue even after the General Election. Running for office is expensive, and 100 percent of your HOSPAC contribution goes to support candidates who are willing to work with hospital advocates to develop sound health care policy.

And speaking of the election…if you didn’t vote early, please go to the polls on Nov. 2! Encourage your colleagues to vote, too. You can view a searchable database of HOSPAC’s candidate endorsements at
www.hospac.org/electioncentral. Then join HOSPAC and THA on Nov. 4 for a special webcast to review the election results – see details below and plan to tune in!

HOSPAC is in the final stretch of its fundraising year, but we still have a way to go. Has your hospital met its HOSPAC goal? We’ll be stirring up some friendly competition over the next few months, and the hospitals that meet their goal will receive special recognition. But the first step is to make your personal
contribution to HOSPAC. Hospitals need a strong voice in the political process, and we need you on the HOSPAC team. Contribute today!

2010 Fundraising Campaign in Final Stretch

Remember – the implementation of federal health reform provisions will happen under the watch of those who are elected on Nov. 2!
