Educating and lobbying lawmakers is not a function of HOSPAC. That responsibility belongs to the Texas Hospital Association’s advocacy team.

HOSPAC is THA’s bipartisan political action committee, and the only political action committee that represents the interests of all Texas hospitals.

With THA member feedback, the HOSPAC Board of Directors makes candidate endorsements. HOSPAC pools contributions and donates those funds to HOSPAC-endorsed candidates.

For the 2021-2022 election cycle, HOSPAC contributed more than $634,000 to 143 candidates. We’re ready to expand our contributions and raise our hospitals’ profile for the 2023-2024 cycle.
