Wendy Thomas and Jen O’Neil wear many hats, but it’s Carrie Kroll that wears the lobbyist hat.
Carrie splits her time between HOSPAC and THA, but during the legislative session the bulk of her time is spent representing Texas hospitals at the state Capitol alongside her fellow THA lobbyists; Jennifer Banda, Sara González and Cameron Duncan.
The THA advocacy team is currently tracking more than 1,600 pieces of legislation that have the potential to impact hospitals. YOUR advocacy team and countless hospital-specific government relations advocates have been working hard to support legislative efforts to grow the health care workforce, expand health care coverage and defend policies that protect Texas patients and the public’s overall health. At the end of the day, THA serves to protect and support hospitals so they can remain open and ready to serve the most vulnerable and acutely ill Texans.
